Administrator workstation minimum requirements

• Windows 2000, XP or Vista
• Microsft Access 2000, 2002/XP, 2003 or 2007; with up-to-date service releases
• Internet Browser Internet e.g. Explorer 6.0 or later

Database Server requirements:

• A dedicated server is not required
• A system re-start is not usually required
• Windows 2000 or 2003
• SQL Server SQL Server 2000 or 2005
• SQL Server database: approx 40 - 200 MB - more if documents are stored

Networking (web OPAC)
These are only required if you want to add a networked web front end (web OPAC)

• A web-publishing server capable of running Active Server Pages e.g. Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) 5.00 or higher
• A desktop icon or link from your intranet page to the PenWeb home page
  Browser on each local PC e.g. Internet Explorer 6.0 or later
