Imagine being able to catalogue at the click of a button. Well this is what we can now offer you with our new AutoCat tool available as an add-on to any of our library software products.
For a one off licence payment for your library (i.e. not per user) you can download bibliographic records from free and subscription data resources. So far we can offer Amazon and COPAC as free sources of data and Nielsen Book Data as an annual subscription service. COPAC is a consortium of libraries and will include books out of print and every book deposited with the British Library, whereas Amazon will include books in print. We plan to add other free resources in the future and there will be no extra charge to you - you will receive the upgrades as part of your Distance Support package. In addition we will shortly include such enriched data as images, reviews and abstracts where these are available in the source data.
Even if you don't have a high number of catalogue records each week, the tool is yours to use for ever more and it will become more useful as we add more free or subscription bibliographic sources. It will also save you time when creating catalogue records, abstracts and other text entries. You will soon have Return on Investment with this new tool.
Online Demo Service - New!
Bailey Solutions can now offer online demonstrations over the internet. We can provide an online demo with a conference call to answer your preliminary questions before an in-depth visit. The service requires an internet connection and a browser. You will be able to see our screens online and hear us talking you explaining various features or answering your questions.

KnowAll / Konduct version 4
Version 4 brought the KnowAll and Konduct products back to a shared library management platform, so we don't have to update two separate products. The benefits to you are:
- Easier to swap products
- Simultaneous updates to both sets of product users
- Greater number of customers to add ideas and share experiences
We have now started work on version 5, working through our database of your ideas and enhancements, plus a few ideas of our own.
There are now over 50 users with KnowAll / Konduct.
MARC21 import
The MARC 21 import is now available for KnowAll. We have designed the import to be a flexible as possible with a preview facility so you can reject whole records or individual fields. This new functionality will benefit existing and new customers who wish to save time on cataloguing by importing records direct from an authoritative source.
PenLib 7.4
We have succeeded in getting both PenLib versions for Access and SQL on the same version and with one common manual. This has benefits to you of:
